A Look At Nicole Oring’s KOG Title Reign By: David Tees For those who read the match description on the upcoming “Kharma vs. Valentina” KOG Match, it was revealed that Valentina has been given back the KOG Title, which was held by Nicole Oring. Nicole Oring actually defeated Akira Lane to win the title, after she had first assisted Akira Lane to defeat Valentina to win the title. A Road Paved With Valentina The best feud thus far in KOG history, in my opinion, is the multi-match battle between two time KOG Champion Valentina and Nicole Oring. In the four matches they competed in, one match with the finals of a four woman tournament for the vacated KOG Title, which Valentina won. The other match was a Two Out Of Three Falls No DQ Match, which again, was won by Valentina in the third fall. A Swerve For The Gold Prior to her title match with Valentina, Akira Lane was offered assistance to win the match by Nicole Oring, which Akira Lane accepted. The thing that Akira Lane didn’t think about, was Nicole Oring would get her title opportunity at any time of her choosing. Nicole Oring held up her end of the deal and knocked out Valentina with the KOG Title, which allowed Akira Lane to pin her and become champion. A few short moments later, Nicole Oring cashed in her title shot quickly on Akira Lane, choked her out and win the title. Here Today, Gone Tomorrow Despite finally achieving her goal of becoming KOG Champion, Nicole Oring would not even get the opportunity to defend her gold. It was announced recently by KOG Officials that Nicole Oring was stripped of her title after her actions in the Valentina/Akira Lane match and the title was given back to Akira Lane. What the future holds for Nicole Oring in KOG is interesting, the most logical paths seems to be a revival of the feud with Valentina or a match with Akira Lane, whom she stole the KOG Title from.
